Location: Groveton, NH

Shift: 6:00 am-6:30 pm (Friday-Sunday)

Reports To: Production Foreman

Job Overview:

The Weekend Painter (M3) plays a critical role in the final finishing process of our heavy equipment products. This position involves preparing, priming, and applying high-quality coatings to Rotobec products in a controlled spray booth environment. Painters are also responsible for maintaining equipment, meeting production standards, and ensuring a safe and organized work area.

Duties and Responsibilities

Surface Prep and Painting:

• Prepare, clean, and paint Rotobec products using approved spray booth processes.
• Product Handling:
• Label products and safely transport them using forklifts and overhead cranes.
• Quality Standards:
• Ensure all coatings meet company and customer specifications for durability, color consistency, and finish quality.
• Equipment Operation:
• Properly operate and maintain spray guns and paint equipment.
• Safety and Compliance:
• Follow all safety procedures, including PPE requirements, and adhere to Good Manufacturing Practices.
• Housekeeping:
• Keep work areas, tools, and equipment clean, organized, and free of hazards.
• Production Goals:
• Meets or exceeds set production targets as directed by the supervisor.
• Flexibility:
• Cross-train in other production areas when needed and perform additional duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Qualifications

Prior industrial or automotive painting experience preferred (will train motivated candidates). Ability to perform quality work in compliance with required safety and production standards. Physically capable of lifting and carrying up to 50 lbs., standing for extended periods, and working in a respirator-equipped environment.
