Responsibilities

• Clean and disinfect patient rooms, bathrooms, furniture, and other areas promptly.
• Deliver linen and remove trash from assigned areas.
• Sweep and mop patient rooms.
• Maintain adequate stock of materials, supplies, and chemicals on the cleaning cart and in the janitors closet.
• Perform daily floor care procedures consistently.
• Keep equipment clean and polished; empty and rinse carts, tanks, and buckets at shift end.
• Perform other duties as assigned according to hospital policies and procedures.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED (strongly preferred)
• Good communication and customer service skills
• Ability to lift, bend, and stand for long periods
• Flexibility to work various days, including weekends and holidays
• Ability to learn quickly, adapt to changing needs, and demonstrate accountability, teamwork, and dedication to high-quality patient care
