Bishop Gadsden, located on 134 acres of lush marshlands and majestic oaks just 10 minutes from downtown Charleston, is seeking a dedicated and dependable Community Response Team Member to help ensure the safety and well-being of our residents, staff, and guests.
What Youll Do
As a Community Response Team Member, youll be a visible and reassuring presence across our campus, responding to emergencies, conducting safety checks, and supporting our residents with care and professionalism.
Your Responsibilities Will Include
- Patrolling community buildings and grounds regularly
- Responding to emergency calls and coordinating with EMS
- Completing incident reports and maintaining safety logs
- Assisting with after-hours deliveries and resident support
- Conducting fire drills and safety inspections
- Managing wildlife control when necessary
Requirements What Were Looking For
Were seeking someone who is calm under pressure, proactive, and committed to creating a safe and welcoming environment.
- Minimum age: 21
- High school diploma or equivalent (preferred)
- Prior experience in security or safety roles (preferred)
- Valid SC drivers license
- Ability to complete Advanced First Aid certification within 90 days
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
