REBNY has over 14K members and a staff of 50 people, led by an executive team that reports to REBNY's Board of Governors, which is comprised of the leaders of the New York real estate industry.

Job Summary:

The Coordinator, Brokerage Programs & Member Services plays a critical role in supporting and executing high-impact events, initiatives, and services for REBNY's residential brokerage membership. Reporting to the SVP of Residential Brokerage Services & Products, this role serves as a key liaison between REBNY and its members, committee leaders, and industry partners. The ideal candidate is an organized, energetic, and people-oriented professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about delivering value to members.

Key Responsibilities:

Events & Programs

  • Plan and execute signature REBNY brokerage events, including managing logistics, securing sponsorships, preparing materials, and conducting post-event evaluations.
  • Lead large-scale events like the Residential Deal of the Year Awards, meeting both engagement and fundraising objectives

Committee Management

  • Manage select REBNY residential committees, coordinating scheduling, agendas, meeting notes, and action items.
  • Support committee chairs in planning programming and initiatives that align with strategic goals.

Member Engagement

  • Serve as a primary point of contact for residential brokerage members, responding to inquiries and providing updates on programs, products, and services.
  • Represent REBNY at member outreach events, office visits, and roadshows to promote engagement and communicate member value.

Communications Support

  • Assist in the creation of content for member communications, including newsletters, updates, and event promotions.
  • Collaborate with the Communications team to develop social media posts, email campaigns, and marketing materials.

Data & Reporting

  • Track and analyze key metrics, including event attendance, sponsorship revenue, committee engagement, and membership trends.
  • Use survey tools and member feedback to inform planning and program evolution.

Partnership & Vendor Management

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with brokerage firms, venues, vendors, and sponsors.
  • Negotiate contracts, manage budgets, and ensure high-quality execution of partner-related deliverables.

Cross-Departmental Collaboration

  • Partner with the RLS team to field member questions, identify trends, and support product and training opportunities.
  • Help qualify inbound product opportunities and prospect for new opportunities by leveraging member feedback and cross-functional insights.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • 3–5 years of experience in events, program coordination, or customer/member-facing roles.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with strong attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
  • Strong analytical skills, with experience tracking KPIs and using data to shape decisions.
  • Experience in membership organizations, real estate, or associations is a plus.
  • Proficiency with Salesforce and survey platforms a must.
  • Willingness to work occasionalevenings to support key events.
