Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cultivation Team Member to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining high-quality and healthy cannabis plants through all stages of growth. This includes propagating and nurturing clones, transferring clones to the vegetative stage, developing mature vegetative plants into full flowering plants, and participating in harvest and refreshing of all grow rooms. Daily record-keeping and organizational tasks are essential, and strict adherence to procedure as outlined by the state regulations and company policies is mandatory.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- As a member of the cultivation (grow) team, you will be responsible for all aspects of cannabis growing and cultivation
- Maintain healthy cultivation of plants, ensuring strict adherence to inventory controls and procedures as plants are transported between rooms and through different stages of development
- Implement strategic plans for the daily operation of cloning, planting, feeding, and harvesting
- Dispose of waste products following strict inventory control procedures and guidelines as outlined by the state
- Perform all other tasks, duties, and responsibilities as assigned by a supervisor
Job Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand or walk for long periods of time
- Ability to periodically bend, reach, and squat
- Ability to physically lift at least 60lbs
Qualifications:
- Must be 21 years of age to apply
- Successful background check required as condition of employment
- Valid driver's license and/or reliable transportation
- High School Diploma or GEC equivalent required
- Previous experience in cannabis cultivation or horticulture is preferred
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to follow strict procedures and regulations
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
