We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented HR Generalist to join our Human Resources team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for recruitment efforts, new hire orientation and onboarding, employee termination, payroll and benefits. The HR Generalist will play a key role in ensuring the organization's HR policies and procedures are aligned with business goals and foster a positive workplace culture.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily HR operations, including maintaining employee records, managing benefits administration and ensuring accurate HRIS data entry.
- Assist with recruitment efforts by coordinating job postings, screening resumes, conducting initial interviews, and onboarding new hires.
- Support employee relations efforts by responding to inquiries, resolving concerns, and promoting effective communication between staff and management.
- Assist in the execution of HR initiatives and preparation of ad hoc reports.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
- Maintain and update HR policies, procedures, and the employee handbook.
- Support payroll and benefits processes.
- Participate in performance review processes and provide guidance to managers on best practices.
- Organize employee engagement initiatives and company events.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 3–5 years of experience in a human resources role, preferably in a generalist capacity.
- Knowledge of HR laws, practices, and procedures.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and HRIS systems.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism.
