Fleet Mechanic, Automotive Technician

As a fleet mechanic, automotive technician, you will help the terminal ensure that equipment is well-kept to allow the movement of freight throughout our network. Responsibilities

A day in the life includes:

• Bumper-to-bumper preventive maintenance service and/or repair to tractors and trailers
• Preventive maintenance inspections
• Electrical troubleshooting
• Brake system repair
• Tire maintenance
• Minor diesel engine repair
• Air conditioning system repair

Requirements

What you bring includes:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 18 years or older
• Previous experience in truck and trailer repair
• Working knowledge of most systems of a truck tractor, trailer, and dolly
• Pass pre-employment drug screen, background check
