Behavioral Health Registered Nurse (RN)Shift Details

Join our team as a Behavioral Health Registered Nurse (RN) working a 3x12 hour schedule from 07:00 AM to 07:30 PM. The position requires a commitment to work every other weekend.

Start Date

This position is available starting on October 6, 2025.

Qualifications

• License: Must possess a valid New York license prior to submission.
• Experience: Minimum of 1 year in a similar role.
• Certifications: Candidates should be skilled in handling various mental health conditions, including but not limited to:
• Anxiety Disorders
• Bipolar Disorder
• Suicidal Behavior
• Personality Disorders
• Trauma-and Stressor-Related Disorders

Patient Care Details

• Patient Age Group: Adults
• Daily Census: Approximately 18-20 patients
• Number of Beds: 20

Responsibilities

As a Behavioral Health RN, you will provide comprehensive care to adult patients with mental health disorders. Your role will involve:

• Utilizing crisis intervention and de-escalation techniques.
• Administering medications responsibly.
• Implementing behavior management techniques to ensure patient safety.

Hospital Environment

Candidates should expect to float between units as needed, enhancing the collaborative and supportive hospital environment. Experience with the Epic charting system is highly preferred.

Location

This position is located in New York, NY. Local candidates must reside over 75 miles from the facility to be eligible for application.
