Overview

Regional Sales Manager Life Sciences / Genomic Solutions - Boston role at Danaher Life Sciences. Integrated DNA Technologies (IDT), one of Danahers operating companies, is the team setting with a focus on accelerating genomics breakthroughs and life sciences impact. This role is part of the East AMR Sales Team and will cover Boston; remote work is available with the expectation to be located in the Boston area. Reports to the Senior Director of Sales East America.

In This Role, You Will Have The Opportunity To
  • Supervise and direct staff, including hiring, training, evaluations, and discipline, and ensure the execution of sales duties.
  • Provide sales forecasting, establish sales goals, and manage the pipeline for the Boston territory.
  • Develop the regional sales strategy: identify and organize the customer base, deploy the sales plan in the field, implement action plans, share information internally, and identify new business opportunities.
  • Develop and execute the sales plan in key target segments: pharmaceutical, biotechnology, and academic.
  • Demonstrate and uphold behavior consistent with IDT Core Values and deliver the IDT experience to customers and partners.
  • Position the company as the solution provider and customer advocate.
  • Collaborate with the Field Application Scientific team, Sales Specialist team, and Product Management to ensure sales targets are met.
Essential Requirements
  • Bachelors degree in Life Sciences required; Advanced degree preferred.
  • Sales team leadership with a minimum of three years of exceeding sales targets in the $20M+ range for life sciences/genomic solutions is strongly preferred.
  • Must be in field with sales team a minimum of three days/week to partner, influence and strategically steer the team to achieve revenue targets.
  • Extensive familiarity with existing academic and corporate accounts in the Boston area.
  • Experience working in a large Life Sciences organization with ability to navigate and manage corporate structure and expectations.
Travel & Environment
  • Ability to travel more than 50% of the time.
  • Must have a valid drivers license with an acceptable driving record.
Preferred Additional Experience
  • Sales team management experience in custom product and/or domains such as NGS, CRISPR, Synthetic Biology, or qPCR/dPCR.
Compensation

The annual salary range for this role is $190,000 - $210,000 plus a generous sales incentive bonus plan. This range is provided in good faith at the time of posting and may be modified in the future.
