The Forklift Operator (Dock Stocker) is responsible for the efficient and safe operation of dock stockers to unload, handle, and store incoming goods in the receiving department. This role ensures the timely organization of products, adhering to safety guidelines to maintain a productive receiving process.

What You'll Do

  • Collect and properly dispose of cardboard, wood, plastic, banding, trash, and pallets along established floor routes.
  • Safely operate a walkie rider.
  • Clean up spills in accordance with EHS (Environmental Health & Safety) protocols and standards.
  • Process all recycling materials.
  • Perform battery changes and watering, maintaining accurate records of all changes.
  • Accurately maintain work records and document parts used according to established procedures.
  • Be willing to train on and operate sit-down forklifts and dock stockers, moving materials throughout the warehouse as needed.
  • Load pallets and recycle materials as required.
  • Receive deliveries, including unloading palletized products and palletizing items for storage.
  • Operate the floor scrubber to maintain facility cleanliness.
  • Complete assigned project tasks, such as maintaining staging lanes and performing housekeeping duties (dusting, cleaning guard rails, walls, and removing spider webs).
  • Perform 5S duties to maintain a clean and organized work area, including PIV equipment, and help keep the shadow board stocked.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
