Position Overview

Ultimate Staffing Services is actively seeking a dedicated and experienced Project Manager to join their client's dynamic team in Colorado Springs, CO. The Project Manager will play a crucial role in developing and maintaining client relationships, managing sales and project execution, and coordinating field labor in collaboration with field leadership. This position demands sound judgment, discretion, and a high level of professional commitment. The selected individual will lead projects from concept through completion, ensuring alignment with client expectations and organizational goals.

Responsibilities

Project Management

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for both the company and the client throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Lead all phases of project execution including concept development, estimating, proposal creation, client meetings, and final delivery.
  • Manage contracts, procurement, and execution of projects ranging from mid-size to multi-million dollar scopes.
  • Coordinate field labor and installation sequencing with internal teams and client representatives.
  • Monitor financial performance including forecasting, budgeting, billing, and cost control.
  • Prepare documentation such as proposals, contracts, change orders, and strategic memos to support project success and legal compliance.

Client & Team Collaboration

  • Lead client meetings and develop contracts to secure new business.
  • Maintain strong relationships with clients, vendors, subcontractors, and industry partners.
  • Coordinate internal efforts across engineering, purchasing, accounting, construction, and service departments.
  • Participate in special initiatives to improve technical capabilities and operational efficiency.

Communication & Leadership

  • Facilitate pre-construction kickoff meetings and attend internal project management and sales meetings.
  • Leverage internal resources to meet project requirements and client expectations.
  • Provide leadership and mentorship to junior staff, supporting recruitment, training, and development efforts.

Other Duties

  • Perform additional tasks and special assignments as directed by leadership to support strategic goals.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field (preferred).
  • 5+ years of experience in estimating, design, or management of HVAC or MEP projects ranging from $50,000 to $25+ million.
  • Proven ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
  • Strong integrity, professionalism, and business development skills.
  • Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and project management capabilities.
  • Active involvement in industry or community organizations is a plus.

  • Valid driver's license required for travel to job sites.
  • Regular and consistent attendance is essential.

Work Schedule

  • Full-time, exempt position.
  • Monday-Friday, with hours ranging from early morning to evening depending on project needs.
  • Occasional weekend and evening work may be required.

Travel

  • Travel to project sites and regional offices as needed based on business requirements.

Compensation

  • Annual salary range: $90,000-150,000
  • Final compensation is based on experience, education, certifications, and location.
  • Total compensation includes additional benefits beyond base salary.
