Job Duration: Full time

The Manager is responsible for overseeing and improving all day-to-day operations of the company, ensuring seamless coordination between Sales, Production, and Customer Service. This role will drive accountability, set measurable goals, and implement systems to improve efficiency, profitability, and customer satisfaction. The Manager will directly supervise department heads (Sales Manager, Production Manager) and ensure performance metrics are met across the company.

Key Responsibilities

Leadership & Accountability

  • Lead and manage all operational departments to meet performance targets.
  • Establish clear goals and KPIs for Sales, Production, and Administrative staff.
  • Hold managers and teams accountable to deadlines, budgets, and quality standards without creating a toxic work environment.

Process & System Development

  • Implement standardized processes for scheduling, communication, job tracking, and quality control.
  • Introduce and maintain reporting systems for sales activity, production schedules, and financial performance.
  • Ensure consistent follow-up with customers, vendors, and employees to prevent missed opportunities.

Sales Support & Oversight

  • Work with the Sales Manager to improve follow-up processes, appointment tracking, and closing rates.
  • Ensure sales staff have the resources, training, and accountability to meet their revenue goals.

Production Oversight

  • Support the Production Manager in scheduling, resourcing, and quality control.
  • Track job costs, timelines, and ensure profitability of all projects.
  • Implement systems to reduce rework and improve on-time delivery rates.

Qualifications

  • Proven leadership experience in operations or general management, preferably in a sales and production-driven business.
  • Strong organizational and process-development skills.
  • Ability to balance strategic oversight with hands-on problem solving.
  • Excellent communication skills for working across departments and with customers.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Operations Management, or related field preferred.
