Protect and Serve: A Career in Military Police
This role requires you to enforce military laws and regulations, control traffic, prevent crime, and respond to emergencies. You'll work on Army installations protecting lives and property.
- Conduct force protection, anti-terrorism, area security, and police intelligence operations
- Train in corrections and detention, investigations, mobility, and security around the world
Skills you'll learn include Law Enforcement & Security, Intelligence Collection, Corrections and Detention. Plus, earn 39 nationally recognized certifications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Law enforcement patrols
- Interview witnesses, victims, and suspects in investigations
- Crime scene security and processing
- Arrest and charge criminal suspects
Requirements:
- 10 weeks of Basic Training
- 20 weeks of One Station Unit Training & on-the-job instruction in police methods
- U.S. Citizen
- 17 to 34 Years Old
- High School Diploma or GED
- Meet Tattoo Guidelines
- No Major Law Violations
- No Medical Concerns
