Program Manager I
We're looking for a strategic leader to manage complex engineering and aerospace programs from concept to delivery. This role blends technical oversight, customer engagement, and business development, making it ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, matrixed environment.
Responsibilities include:
- Leading cross-functional teams to deliver projects on time, within scope, and on budget
- Managing program financials, including profit/loss accountability
- Driving proposal development and contract negotiations
- Acting as the primary liaison between engineering teams and technical customers
- Building strong relationships across defense, space, and commercial aerospace sectors
- Identifying new business opportunities and contributing to product line growth
- Improving internal processes and eliminating inefficiencies
- Coordinating engineering efforts across departments
- Promoting innovation and patentable technologies
- Establishing and tracking program performance metrics
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent experience
- 5+ years in engineering services and aerospace product development
- 3+ years of aerospace project management experience
- Experience with parachute systems is a plus
- PMP or similar certification preferred
- Strong leadership, communication, and analytical skills
- Proficiency in MS Project, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
- Solid understanding of aeronautical and mechanical engineering principles
- Must be a U.S. Person under ITAR regulations

- Occasional travel required for supplier visits, product testing, and customer meetings
- Work environment includes office, shop floor, field, and customer sites
- Physical requirements include lifting up to 50 lbs with assistance
