evoJets is looking for a talented business development professional with a proven track record of success. The Business Development Director will be responsible for onboarding major accounts, cultivating new business partnerships, and launching new programs across a variety of private aviation products and services.
Primary Responsibilities:
The Business Development Director will report directly to the owner/Managing Partner of the firm and contribute to new and existing business opportunities across the company.
Enterprise Sales
- Prospect and network with potential clients for major account opportunities.
- Leverage evoJets' full stack of aviation services and potential, offering on-demand charter, Evolved Charter membership, whole ownership services, SaaS technology services, and more.
- Produce any required marketing materials and collaborate with legal/compliance team to produce deal documentation including RFP requirements, contracts, et.
B2B Partnerships
- Develop partnerships with industry colleagues across our full range of aviation services.
- Create revenue sharing and referral opportunities with direct air carriers, aircraft brokerages, OEMs, and MROs.
- Establish relationships with ancillary service providers like air ambulance and cargo companies, ground transportation and catering providers, and similar, to produce favorable outcomes for evoJets and our clients.
New Programs & Services
- Identify and contribute to the creation of new programs and services, assisting with diligence processes, business model creation/evaluation, and competitive landscape analysis.
- Monitor the business aviation landscape for M&A opportunities, evaluate deals and present detailed reviews and recommendations to leadership.
- Handle inbound inquiries for new business opportunities in a range of verticals, evaluate and present to leadership, manage and develop the deal cycle.
Required Experience & Skills
- At least seven years of business development, enterprise sales, or closely related experience.
- Business aviation experience is a major plus, but character, intellect, and work ethic is valued more highly than direct industry experience.
- Strong ‘business skillset'; excel skills, business model & presentation creation, etc.
- Ability to communicate effectively with a range of high-touch stakeholders.
- Ability to exercise independent judgment and discretion in performance of duties.
- Composure and ability to thrive in high-pressure situations.
- Self-motivation and relentless approach to sales and relationship management.
