Job Title: Engineer Tech Principle Job Location: Louisville Kentucky 40202 Onsite Requirements: Deep Machining and Manufacturing Expertise Proficiency with Siemens NX and Technical Leadership Project and Process Management Skills Job Description: As the Engineer Technologist Principal, you will… Provide strategic technical direction and guidance on complex projects, influencing technical decisions and ensuring alignment with business goals. Work with cross-functional teams, including design, quality, and production, to ensure seamless integration of machining processes. Develop new machining processes, improve existing ones, and create necessary tooling and fixtures. Identify and resolve complex technical issues related to machining processes, equipment, and product quality. Implement and maintain quality control measures throughout the machining process, monitoring and final inspection. Create and maintain detailed documentation for analysis, research, and historical records related to machining processes. Qualifications: S. degree in a relevant technical discipline, such as engineering or technology. Proficiency in using Siemens NX software for design and programming of machining operations. Communicate effectively with technical and non-technical audiences, both verbally and in writing. Knowledge of quality control procedures, inspection requirements, and relevant industry standards. Ability to plan, execute, and manage complex projects, ensuring they are completed successfully on-time and with high-quality results. Deep knowledge of various machining processes, equipment, tooling, and materials. Proficiency of MS Office Suite products (SharePoint, Outlook, Word, Excel, Project, PowerPoint, etc.). Preferred Skills and Education Defense Contracting Experience. Excellent time management, interpersonal and leadership skills. Ability to program multiple head configurations a plus. 7 years in a machining and manufacturing environment. Capable of programming complex 3, 4, and 5 axis mills, along with multi-axis vertical and horizontal lathes. Leading the creation of ROMs, BOE and quoting. Program/Project management (PMP a plus).
