  • Bachelor's Degree, preferably in computer information systems or other technical discipline

  • Experience with Infinite Campus.
  • Experience with PowerSchool BusinessPlus.
  • Experience in report writing using tools that include ArcGIS, SQL Server Management Studio, Tableau, Qualtrics, and Microsoft Excel.

  • BASIC FUNCTION: Monitors, analyzes, forecasts, and evaluates demographic and enrollment data to provide insight for effective staff allocation, master schedules, and building attendance area decisions. Coordinates the use of student enrollment and demographic data at all departments for the effective allocation of resources. Conduct policy and special studies on emerging demographic issues within the district, interpret results, prepare reports, and translate findings into actions that will benefit school, district, and community decisions and programs. The essential functions as shown below represent only the key areas of responsibility. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
  • Design, execute, and communicate the findings of demographic/enrollment studies for short-term and long- term district planning.
  • Serve as a data liaison between the Assessment, Data, and Evaluation department and other district departments for student enrollment demographic study purposes.
  • Translate findings into recommendations that will benefit schools and programs and write feedback and summative evaluation reports that communicate results effectively to multiple audiences.
  • Lead and facilitate with building administrative teams in the creation of a yearly master schedule that reflects student course choices and needs.
  • Collaborate with Talent and Personnel to set school staff allocations in alignment with student enrollment and populations for middle and elementary school buildings.
  • Oversee and direct process of high school regular programming allocation in alignment with student request and student driven scheduling.
  • Manage and maintain course masters in student information system and work with district registrar to ensure proper utilization of course numbers in scheduling practices and data cleanliness across all high schools, middle schools, and elementary schools, to ensure accurate state reporting and concurrent enrollment data.
  • Communicates and supervises annual gradebook updates completed by curriculum coordinators. Serve as lead to oversee/troubleshoot gradebook issues throughout school year.
  • Transcribes all building grades and provides grading support to buildings and curriculum.
  • Manages annual updates to SIS system as it relates to underlying scheduling/day structures to ensure accurate attendance for state reporting and in support of district goals/changes (getting at 6th grade schedules changes, NGOT teams, etc.)
  • Maintain databases necessary to complete functions of the role (SQL, Student Information System, ArcGIS)
  • Plan, lead, communicate, and monitor fulfillment of scheduling process updates, deadlines, and expectations to building- level teams.
  • Guide and ensure a seamless process and timeline for academic planning, and master scheduling, resulting in timely creation of student schedules.
  • Gather and analyze data to ensure proper class numbers, teacher usage and eliminate schedule gaps, while supporting buildings to balance class numbers and teacher rosters.
  • Provide support to school level teams to ensure effective teacher usage and eliminate schedule gaps, while balancing class numbers and teacher rosters.
  • Develops, trains, and supervises building teams on student-driven master scheduling to ensure proper data integration between software systems.
  • Plan/lead annual student driven course request process. Supervise, trains, and communicates deadlines to building counselors to ensure accurate course request data.
  • Collaborates with the Welcome Center to ensure accurate tracking of open enrollment in and out of the district.
  • Utilize available tools such as ArcGIS, SQL Server Management Studio, Tableau, Qualtrics, and Microsoft Excel to provide technical support.
  • Lead presentations on evaluation results to multiple audiences including program directors, district leadership, the school board, and other stakeholders.
  • Analyze student data and prepare written and oral reports to enhance staff knowledge, comply with legislation, and report to the district and community.
  • Monitoring for compliance with Chapter 12 offer and teach requirements and supporting district and school teams in ensuring appropriate course offerings at all schools.
  • Collaborate with department leadership and school administrators and staff to provide exemplary support services on a daily basis.
