Manage computer-based shop to ensure a high level of Member Service Index (MSI)This position will start as an APD field reinspection. Appraises automobile or other vehicle damage. Uses independent judgment in determining repair cost estimates and damage awards. Exercises independent judgment and personal discretion in repair versus replace decisions with damaged vehicles. Negotiate with repair facilities to obtain agreement for repair at the estimated cost level. Prepares clear and concise written reviews of the damage findings and repair agreements for submission to the adjusting staff for their finalization of payments. Communicate with repair shops, members and claimants daily. Requirements:Four-year college degree and 3 - 5 years collision estimating experience preferred. Ability to service claims of various complexities. Some insurance experience preferred. Excellent computer and line of business technical software skills required.
