One Science

One Science is our early careers programme which creates a pipeline of science talent, positioned to lead bp through the energy transition, to provide reliable, affordable and lower carbon energy to the world and achieve net-zero.

The One Science Early Careers programme provides accelerated pathways and develops diverse talent through challenging rotations, a dedicated support network and by creating a toolkit of transferable skills to succeed

This is a three-year program comprised of three 12-month assignments.

About the role

As a Process Engineer, you will:

The program will operate with a flexible model that allows graduates to experience the breadth of applied sciences activities, with placements within country over a period of three years designed to cover a range of technical areas. Examples of these include:

  • research & innovation​ - utilize deep scientific and engineering knowledge and tools to deliver differentiated capability and unlock competitive advantage​
  • analytics, testing & modelling​ - provide innovative performance and analytical testing and investigational analysis for applied sciences
  • product development & quality a​assurance - develop and deliver next generation products to meet needs of selected markets/customers
  • technical support​ - lead interface with markets to deploy products/services and underpin technical support offer​
  • global product stewardship - manage all aspects of product life cycle compliance​
  • intellectual asset management - ensure intellectual property is secured and leveraged to optimize value
  • demonstration & commercialization - leverage in-house capability to rapidly convert successful pilots into commercial options​

How much do we pay?

· $100k USD – for a Engineering* Bachelor's Degree.

· 104k USD – for a Engineering* Master's Degree.

*College Degree in one of the following: Chemical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering

Minimum Requirements

  • Working toward Bachelor's or Maters degree in chemical engineering discipline
  • Graduating between December 2025 and May 2026
  • Current Cumulative GPA Minimum 3.0
  • Eligible to work in the U.S. with no restrictions (bp will not support U.S. Immigration sponsorship for full-time or long-term employment)
  • Must be available to start on agreed upon global programme start dates (January 20, 2026 or July 13, 2026).
