Commercial Property Manager

Overview
We are seeking an experienced Commercial Property Manager to oversee the operations, maintenance, tenant relations, and financial performance of assigned commercial properties. The ideal candidate is a proactive leader with strong financial acumen, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to delivering an exceptional tenant experience while ensuring properties are profitable and compliant.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee day-to-day property operations, including maintenance, safety, and security.
- Serve as the primary contact for tenants, addressing concerns and ensuring satisfaction.
- Develop and manage property budgets, monitor expenses, and prepare financial reports.
- Coordinate vendor services, negotiate contracts, and ensure quality standards are met.
- Conduct regular property inspections to identify maintenance needs and ensure compliance with leases, codes, and safety regulations.
- Manage lease administration, including renewals, rent collection, and enforcement.
- Support tenant retention efforts and maintain high occupancy rates.
- Assist with property improvements, renovations, and capital projects
- Ensure compliance with company policies, industry standards, and legal requirements
- Collaborate with ownership, accounting, and leadership teams on property performance.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Real Estate, Property Management, or related field preferred.
- 3+ years of experience in commercial property management or related field.
- Strong knowledge of lease administration, property law, and commercial real estate practices
- Proven financial and budgeting skills
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and organizational skills
- Proficiency in property management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- CPM (Certified Property Manager) or RPA (Real Property Administrator) designation preferred but not required.
Work Environment
This role involves a mix of office and on-site work, with frequent interaction with tenants, vendors, and contractors.
