GENERAL JOB DESCRIPTION

The SEO Strategist will be responsible for developing, implementing, and optimizing search engine strategies that increase visibility, traffic, and lead generation for In-Telecom's digital presence. This role will collaborate closely with marketing, sales, and content teams to align SEO strategies with business goals. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of on-page, off-page, and technical SEO, along with the ability to analyze performance data and provide actionable insights that improve rankings and drive measurable results.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • SEO Strategy & Planning: Develop and execute comprehensive SEO strategies to improve organic rankings, drive qualified traffic, and support lead generation goals.
  • Keyword Research & Optimization: Conduct ongoing keyword research, competitive analysis, and content gap analysis to inform content strategy and identify new growth opportunities.
  • On-Page Optimization: Optimize website content, metadata, internal linking, and user experience to improve search performance and relevance.
  • Technical SEO Management: Work with web developers and IT teams to resolve technical issues such as crawl errors, site speed, indexing, mobile responsiveness, and schema markup.
  • Content Collaboration: Partner with the marketing team to ensure content is optimized for search engines while maintaining brand voice and user engagement.
  • Performance Tracking & Reporting: Monitor SEO metrics, including keyword rankings, organic traffic, and conversion rates. Prepare regular reports and provide recommendations for improvement.
  • Local SEO & Listings Management: Optimize local search presence through directory management, Google Business Profile optimization, and local content strategies.
  • Link-Building & Outreach: Identify opportunities for building high-quality backlinks and collaborate on digital PR efforts to improve domain authority.
  • Industry Trends & Innovation: Stay updated on search engine algorithms, emerging SEO tools, and best practices to keep In-Telecom's strategies competitive.
  • Website Management: Maintain the operation of the company website and ensure its fuctionality.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

This position will require lifting, twisting, standing, bending, sitting or crouching at least 90% of the time. Frequent use of a phone and keyboard will be repetitive. The employee will be required to travel from time to time and must be willing to work various shifts to accommodate the needs of company events. The employee must be able to lift and carry items up to 20 pounds.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

The nature of this position will require the employee to work in various elements (Inside, Outside, Sitting, Standing, etc. and in various temperatures)

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field.
  • 3+ years of hands-on SEO experience (agency or in-house).
  • Strong knowledge of SEO tools such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs, or Moz.
  • Proven track record of improving search rankings and organic traffic growth.
  • Understanding of technical SEO principles, including site architecture, crawling, indexing, and structured data.
  • Experience with CMS platforms (e.g., WordPress, HubSpot) and basic HTML/CSS knowledge.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and provide actionable insights.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience with B2B marketing or telecommunications/IT industries.
  • Knowledge of PPC and paid search campaigns.
  • Familiarity with conversion rate optimization (CRO) and A/B testing.
  • Experience optimizing video and multimedia content for search.
  • Google Analytics or HubSpot certifications.
