Tasks include:
- Offering virtual or follow up support calls to Hartford residents
- Checking-in to see if a person was able to access a community program
- Helping troubleshoot if the resident experienced challenges
- Offering to provide ongoing phone or virtual support as needed
In order to volunteer, you should be:
- A registered UAServe volunteer (you will have a chance to register if you haven't already)
- Willing to attend an orientation prior to volunteering
- Willing to submit a background check
- Open to an ongoing volunteer commitment that works with your schedule
- Willing to complete 4-6 hours of training (in person or online)
- Comfortable interacting with the Hartford community
- Reliable
- Patient
