Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of adolescents? Join our dedicated team as a Residential Care Associate / Med Tech and help create a safe, supportive, and therapeutic environment for youth in our residential care program. What You'll Do:
- Provide direct care and supervision to residents, ensuring safety and emotional well-being
- Facilitate therapeutic groups, recreational activities, and educational sessions
- Administer medications under the supervision of a delegating nurse
- Document resident behavior, incidents, and medication administration
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to support individualized treatment plans
- Transport residents to appointments and community activities
- Assist in training new staff and maintaining a positive unit culture
What We're Looking For:
- Minimum age: 21
- High school diploma or GED required, degree in psychology, social work, or related field preferred
- Experience working with adolescents in residential care is a plus
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Ability to complete required training and certifications, including CPR/BLS and Med Tech certification
- Strong communication, observation, and crisis intervention skills
Physical Requirements:
- Active role with frequent standing, walking, and interaction
- Ability to use a computer and communicate clearly via phone
- Must be present on-site and maintain punctual attendance
