Job Title: Production Worker
Job Description
Join our team as a Production Worker where you will be integral to the Mattress Assembly, Material Handling, or Quilting departments. You will work collaboratively in teams to construct high-quality mattresses, ensuring all components meet precise specifications.
First Shift - $17/hr - Lots of OT
Responsibilities
Work in teams to apply glue, foam, and build the insides of mattresses according to provided specifications.
Assemble mattresses using various hand and power tools, including c-ring hog-ring guns, staple guns, and hot glue guns.
Layer foam on coil units and apply upholstery layers to complete mattress assembly.
Inspect mattress components and finished units for flaws or structural defects.
Operate sewing machines to sew fabrics and create pillow tops in the Quilting department.
Cut and measure materials accurately, following specific work instructions.
Use push carts to stage and move materials for production processes, ensuring seamless workflow.
Review work instructions and transport materials within the production area.
Essential Skills
1+ years of experience with hand tools and general assembly.
Proficiency in using hand and power tools.
Experience in a warehouse, production, or manufacturing environment.
Ability to read, write, and speak English.
High school diploma or GED required.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Previous experience in manufacturing operations preferred.
Knowledge of assembly, production, manufacturing, or warehouse processes.
Ability to stand and walk for a minimum of 8 hours per day, with potential for overtime.

Work Environment
The work environment is air-conditioned, with shifts starting at 5 am and lasting up to 12 hours, depending on production needs. Employees work Monday through Friday, with flexibility required for Saturday shifts during high demand periods. The role involves physical demands such as prolonged standing, bending, and lifting in a safe, clean area, with exposure to high noise levels and hot materials. Personal Protective Equipment is provided and mandatory.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $17.00/hr.
