This position is responsible for managing the overall operations, planning, and development of information and technology services for the College of Public Health. Responsibilities include: strategic and tactical planning, budget management, project management, resource management, vendor relationship management, developing a culture of customer service, and the supervision and development of IT professionals and leaders. The IT Director must be highly motivated, skilled and experienced in managing a complex and various technology-based service unit, solutions-driven and focused on exceptional customer service. Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and/or Competencies Bachelors degree in an appropriate field of study. Experience in Information Technology management. Supervisory experience in a large and complex organization. Extensive knowledge of system administration, information security, project management, and user help desk support models.
