The Senior Major Gifts Director position at the client organization plays a vital role in overseeing all major gifts activities to support the mission of improving the lives of individuals affected by Huntington's disease. Reporting to the Chief Development and Field Officer, this dynamic position includes managing the major gifts program, cultivating relationships with donors, and collaborating with the development team to enhance funding efforts through various initiatives.

Key responsibilities for this role include:

• Leading and coordinating major gifts initiatives to align with organizational goals.
• Planning and executing national-level stewardship efforts to engage and retain donors.
• Collaborating with development staff and volunteers to drive fundraising success.
• Launching a comprehensive major gifts program aimed at expanding donor engagement.
• Managing a national donor portfolio to meet fundraising targets.

The ideal candidate will possess:

• A deep passion for the mission related to Huntington's disease.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
• A bachelor's degree and a minimum of five years of relevant fundraising experience.
• A proven track record of successfully securing significant gifts from various donors.
• Strong organizational skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM software.
• The ability to work effectively in a remote setting or from NYC, with occasional travel requirements.
