Join Our Team as an Environmental Health & Safety Specialist at Direct Wire & Cable!
Are you an experienced EHS professional with a passion for safety leadership and continuous improvement? Direct Wire & Cable is hiring an Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) Specialist to lead and enhance safety programs across our Lancaster and Denver, PA facilities.
This is a full-time, onsite role with some hybrid flexibility and travel between locations as needed. This role is ideal for someone ready to take ownership of compliance, training, and risk management while fostering a proactive safety culture in a dynamic manufacturing environment.
In This Role, You Will:
- Develop and implement health and safety programs, policies, and procedures
- Create and deliver training modules to ensure OSHA compliance and employee understanding
- Conduct safety audits, inspections, and exposure evaluations
- Analyze safety data and recommend corrective actions to reduce incidents
- Lead incident investigations and manage injury records and workers' comp cases
- Maintain OSHA logs and regulatory documentation
- Monitor regulatory changes and communicate updates to leadership
- Lead safety committee meetings and promote safety culture across facilities
- Collaborate with HR and Operations to support return-to-work programs
- Travel between Lancaster and Denver facilities as needed

What We're Looking For:
- Bachelor's degree and 3+ years of progressive EHS experience
- OSHA 10, OSHA 30, and EHS certification required or in progress
- Strong understanding of safety regulations and employment laws
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and EHS-related software
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment

- On-site – Lancaster, PA
- Travel: Occasional travel to Denver, PA as needed
