Title: Senior Operations Analyst

Location: Wayne, PA In office 1 day a week, remote 4 days a week

Pay: $60k-$90K + 10% Bonus

Team & Structure

The Operations team manages the firm's core systems and data infrastructure, including portfolio management systems (PMS), performance reporting, billing, and CRM, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and scalability for our advisors and client service teams. The group is cross-trained for operational continuity and is expanding due to growth and internal promotions.

Position Summary

The Senior Operations Analyst will play a key role in supporting and enhancing the firm's portfolio management and reporting capabilities. While cross-trained across billing, data analysis, and reporting, this position will primarily focus on portfolio management reporting/accounting functions utilizing systems such as Tamarac or Orion.

Responsibilities

  • Manage daily, monthly, and quarterly workflows in the Portfolio Management System (Tamarac/Orion), including reconciliations, audits, and system maintenance.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve discrepancies related to account performance, billing issues, and data integrity.
  • Support M&A system integrations, assisting with the migration and onboarding of data from acquired firms.
  • Collaborate with CRM platform teams (Salesforce) to troubleshoot data synchronization issues between PMS and CRM.
  • Contribute to process improvement initiatives by documenting workflows, identifying efficiency gains, and enhancing SOPs.
  • Assist in training new hires and serve as a cross-trained team member, stepping into billing, reporting, and data analysis as needed.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • 4–5+ years of operations experience in the RIA/wealth management industry.
  • Hands-on experience with portfolio management systems (portfolio accounting/reporting), ideally Tamarac (Envestnet) or Orion.
  • Advanced Excel skills (macros, formulas, data manipulation).
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Nice-to-Haves

  • M&A data integration and Salesforce experience.
  • Familiarity with custodians such as Schwab and Fidelity.
