Job Description
An engineering company located in Pasadena, CA is searching for a Document Control Specialist to join their team! This position would be 5 days on-site in person. Please see the responsibilities below:
- Capture of all invoices in Medius and capture error review including the following:
- Review all Incoming invoices in Medius, take action on and delete all Non-Invoice documents
- Review and update proper job and PO information on invoices that errored out and are in Document import.
- Work with AP Specialists and Service A/P on invoices with missing data to determine proper job information
- Review and distribute mail daily
- Other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the A/P Supervisor or Manager.
Required Skills & Experience
- Bachelor's degree required
- 1+ year of previous Accounts Payable work experience
- Proficiency with MS Windows, including MS Word and MS Excel (e.g. can accurately complete sum functions and calculations using Excel formulas)
- Accurate 10-key by touch (7000+ keystrokes preferred) and demonstrated data-entry accuracy
- Demonstrated customer service excellence, including professional, courteous phone skills
- Ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines
- Ability to work overtime and weekends as required by Supervisor or Manager
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
- Previous experience with document imaging administration (a.k.a. paperless invoice system) and scanning equipment preferred but not required
- Experience with Construction A/P department and/or accounting system preferred, but not required
Benefits and Compensation:
$22 to $23/hour
