We specialize in trauma therapy using a variety of therapeutic modalities with a specific emphasis on EMDR. Role Description

This is a part-time hybrid role for an Associate Therapist in Atascadero, CA with the potential of becoming full-time if desired by therapist. The Associate or Licensed Therapist will be responsible for conducting individual, couple and family therapy sessions. In particular we have a need for therapists with availability after school hours to accommodate the children on our waitlist. Additional daily tasks include assessing clients' needs, developing treatment plans, documenting client progress, and participating in team meetings. The role requires maintaining confidentiality and adhering to professional and ethical guidelines.

Position

• W-2 position, part-time hours or full-time hours available
• In-person in Atascadero, California a minimum of two days per week.
• Work at home opportunity for virtual sessions

Qualifications

• Registered with the California Board of Behavioral Sciences as an Associate
• Must be available for in-person sessions at least 2 afternoons a week
• Skills in individual, group, and family therapy
• Trained or willing to be trained in EMDR
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to develop personalized treatment plans based on client needs
• Strong documentation and record-keeping skills
• Proficiency in teletherapy platforms
• Master's degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or related field
• Ability to work independently, collaboratively and remotely
