Material Handler I

Apogee Worx, LLC is a growing DoD aerospace business delivering leading edge solutions to the military and para-military aviation markets. We are looking for individuals who will thrive in a challenging, project-based environment with a charter of providing state of the art capabilities to legacy aircraft.

Apogee Worx is hiring a Material Handler I. The individual must demonstrate the ability to conduct basic logistics functions and ensure proper packing, handling, shipping, receiving of assets. Also, the individual will perform a variety of tasks as directed by management.

Essential Functions:

• Material Control
• Shipping/Receiving
• Part Inventory
• Monitoring stock
• Kit Building and Management per the Bill of Materials (BOM)
• Making supplier pick up/deliveries
• Administrative Tasks as required
• Willing to become forklift certified

In addition, the ability to climb ladders, stoop, bend, be on your feet for extended periods of time, and lift and/or carry items weighing over 50lbs is required.

Basic Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• Ability to stand while working
• Must be able to work independently.
• Must be detail oriented and organized.
• Must be a US Citizen.

Desired Skills:

• MS Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook, Adobe Reader
• Basic Computer skills
• Able to work independently from written procedures and industry standards
• Detail oriented and organized
• Well developed written and verbal communication skills
• Advanced problem-solving abilities
