Security Receptionists

Business Technology Integrators (BTI), a service-disabled veteran owned small business with over 25 years of experience delivering innovative IT solutions to the federal government, is seeking security receptionists in support of the Department of Energy - Oak Ridge Laboratory (ORNL) located in Oak Ridge, Tennessee.

Responsibilities:
  • Control and monitor entrance and exit for ORNL SCIF (Building 5300S)
  • Assume responsibility and execute administrative/clerical office functions according to DOE policy, while maintaining a positive atmosphere in a professional manner
  • Receive, assist, and track all ORNL SCIF (Building 5300S) visitors, to include badge issuance and sign-in procedures
  • Query all personnel entering the ORNL SCIF (Building 5300S) to ensure no prohibited items enter the facility (i.e. All clear ). Query personnel exiting the ORNL SCIF (Building 5300S) to ensure adherence of exit procedures (i.e. Badged out )
  • Handle incoming/outgoing front desk phone calls, emails, and maintain correspondence in a responsive and courteous manner
  • Disseminates information as appropriate or refers to others
  • Assist the ORNL Special Security Office (SSO) on special projects to meet all mission objectives
  • Maintain a consistent work schedule during the ORNL SCIF (Building 5300S) core business hours of 7am-5pm EST, unless otherwise noted by ORNL Special Security Office (SSO) directly
  • Security receptionists are authorized to be dual-hatted and perform security escort duties and responsibilities that may be required to fulfill the company's additional escort requests
Requirements:
  • Ability to obtain a DOE Q clearance, access to sensitive compartmented information (SCI), and successfully complete a limited scope and/or counterintelligence polygraph in accordance with U.S. Government (USG) orders and directives
  • Ample experience with providing administrative/clerical functions
  • Familiar within U.S. Government (USG) security practices and adaptability to changing security policies and environments
  • Ability to manage multiple visitors simultaneously
  • Exceptional customer service skills
  • Ability to work well under pressure or in difficult circumstances
  • Attention to detail, organized, and efficient
