The Recorder's Office is looking for a full-time Deputy Clerk II from 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. (40 hours). Are you interested in a full-time position in County Government? The Recorder's office maintains permanent land records, retains them in archival form, makes them constantly accessible to the public, and this position is a technical legal process job requiring specialized clerical knowledge according to the Ohio Revised Code.
- Analyzes and accepts legal documents from the public, attorneys, title examiners, and other professionals over the counter, by mail, or e-recording in accordance with the Ohio Revised Code.
- Collects the correct fees, records or e-records, scans into the system, analyzes and enters complete data information including names and legal description correctly.
- Assists the public with inquiries and requests for documents recorded in the office by phone; email, or in person.
