The Domicile Coordinator is responsible for the dispatch operations and the accurate and timely pickup of backhauls in the Transportation Department.87 per hour.
Schedule - Sunday - ThursdayGenerous benefits that start on your 60th day: medical, dental, and vision insurance, FSA/HSA and company-paid life insurance.Earn vacation time, and sick leave accrual from day one and paid holidays after 90 days.Additional benefits: pet insurance, parental leave, employee assistance programs, discount programs, tuition reimbursement program, and more!What you'll do as a Domicile Coordinator:Complete transportation pouches including route manifests, highlight keys, invoices, special customer notifications, maps and stores keys for drivers.Maintain driver log (Manual or PeopleNet) according to DOT regulations, documenting pickup receipt, product temperatures and exceptions.Prepare and verify roadworthiness of tractor-trailer and maintain filing system for Driver Vehicle Inspection Reports.Call customers to inform them of variances in delivery times.Provide timely reports to immediate supervisor as requested.Drive tractor-trailer to destination, applying knowledge of commercial driving regulations and skill in maneuvering vehicle on the road and on backhaul premises.Qualifications you'll bring as a Domicile Coordinator:High School Diploma.CDL Class A License (Required).Not have been convicted of a DWI/DUI within the past 5 years in any vehicle, public or private.Be able to use a Tractor-trailer, 2-wheel dolly, ramp, and on-board PeopleNet device. Knowledge of mainframe computer software (PeopleSoft) relating to record keeping/scheduling for drivers and helpers.Experience in Windows environment and on Excel, Microsoft Word, and Access programs; This position requires the ability to read, write, and understand English at a level sufficient to perform job-related tasks effectively and safely.
