The Virginia Talent Accelerator's--Director, Talent Acquisition Services role offers an exciting opportunity to work on multiple projects with the world's most prestigious companies as they deploy leading edge technologies attheir new or expanding Virginia locations. We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Director, Talent Acquisition Services to join our team.The successful candidate has experience in talent attraction efforts, engaging wide and diverse audiences to develop robust talent networks for our clients' open positions, is proactive, adaptable, conveys positive communication, and demonstrates attention to detail.Responsibilities:Manage all activities related to the strategy implementation, including enhanced use of research and data to identify high potential candidates, ad placement opportunities, job fairs, and related service deliveryCollaborate with project management teams on administering candidate pre-employment screening toolsSurvey client leadership teams upon completionProactively gather data and testimonials regarding the effectiveness of the Virginia Talent Accelerator ProgramCollaborate with the VEDP management team, facilitate needs analysis and ideation sessions with client decision makers to map their Virginia talent acquisition strategy and integration of Accelerator servicesCollaborate with the Accelerator's internal teams to design and develop the tools and media required to implement the talent acquisition strategyProvide clear decision and clearly communicate goals of VEDP to staff and inform external stakeholders and clientsEvaluate and manage vendors to deliver talent acquisition servicesDevelop and facilitate demonstrated topics to highlight the program's talent acquisition service capabilities during Experience Center toursJob Qualifications:Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple project tasks simultaneously to meet tight deadlinesExcellent written and verbal communication skillsFamiliarity with assorted job boards, social media platforms, and recruitment tools, e.g., LinkedIn Recruiter, Indeed, ZipRecruiter, relevant applicant tracking systems and similar technologies--Proficiency in spreadsheet software (e.g., Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets) and/or related productivity/management programs to track and manage job listings and project progressAbility to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible and adaptable approach to changing prioritiesDisplays a high level of professionalism, integrity, and discretion when handling confidential informationBrings a proactive and resourceful mindset to troubleshoot solutions for recruitment challengesExperience Required:Experience coordinating the design, development, and delivery of talent acquisition servicesProject leadership and management, working within external/internalOperational reporting and support of organization-wide effortsExperience Desired:At least 5 years of leadership experience in a talent acquisition role which includes overseeing the design and implementation of talent acquisition strategiesManagement of internal direct reports and indirect reportsDivision/department management, resource allocation, and project delegationSubstantial experience in an organization whose core business is developing and delivering talent acquisition servicesSubstantial private-sector experience working in and/or with large, multinational firm(s)Experience in economic developmentThis position offers an opportunity to contribute to the success of our clients' recruitment efforts and plays a vital role in finding the right talent for their organizations. --If you thrive in a fast-paced environment, have a passion for recruitment, and enjoy supporting clients in their hiring needs, we would love to hear from you.Being authorized to work in the U.S. is a precondition of employment. --VEDP uses the E-Verify system and does not provide sponsorship.All candidates must apply through our website A valid driver's license is required.
