Job Summary:
Our client is seeking a Systems Analyst to join their team! This position is located in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
Duties:
- Own and manage the product backlog for the Data and BI scrum team, ensuring features and user stories are continuously refined, prioritized, and aligned with business goals
- Translate high-level business vision and reporting needs into actionable product roadmaps, epics, and user stories
- Define and maintain clear acceptance criteria to ensure deliverables meet quality standards and stakeholder expectations
- Partner with stakeholders, including business analysts, BI creators, report consumers, and solution architects, to elicit, document, and validate data and reporting requirements
- Lead discussions to understand analytics needs, propose technical solutions, and prioritize initiatives based on business value
- Map reporting and data use cases to architectural patterns and existing solutions, ensuring scalability and consistency
- Contribute to Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, backlog refinement, retrospectives, and PI planning
- Collaborate with developers, QA, and the Scrum Master to ensure clarity, efficient delivery, and continuous improvement across sprints
- Conduct thorough reviews of data products to validate accuracy, completeness, and alignment with acceptance criteria prior to release
- Serve as the primary point of contact for escalations related to data products or backlog prioritization
- Provide regular updates to stakeholders on progress, risks, and alignment with business objectives
Desired Skills/Experience:
- 3+ years as a Technical Product Owner, with proven success leading Big Data initiatives within the financial services or insurance industry
- 2+ years of experience with cloud-based data platforms and tools, specifically: AWS Redshift and Tableau
- Strong technical acumen in data product development and business intelligence (BI) solution delivery
- Deep knowledge of data modeling techniques and architectural patterns such as: star schema, normalized/denormalized models
- Hands-on experience with BI and data visualization tools such as: Tableau, Power BI
- Proficiency in SQL, Python, and stored procedures for querying, data wrangling, and transformation
- Power BI experience is a strong plus
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize effectively, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Prior experience in the insurance sector is preferred, particularly with Disability, FMLA, and Life insurance products

The approximate pay range for this position is between $41.00 and $59.00. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to background, knowledge, skills, and location. We comply with local wage minimums.
