Job Description We're looking for Sterile Processing Techs who are excited to support the foundation of safe patient care. In this role, you'll help maintain sterile environments by inventorying equipment, decontaminating and cleaning tools, organizing trays and packs, and operating sterilizers. Your attention to detail and ability to follow aseptic techniques will make a meaningful impact each day. Key Responsibilities
- Inventory and maintain sterile processing supplies and equipment
- Decontaminate, clean, and sterilize surgical instruments and trays
- Organize and wrap instruments following proper procedures
- Operate and monitor sterilization equipment
- Follow department standards and safety protocols
Collaborative Teamwork This role involves working closely with our team to deliver effective, patient-focused services and contribute to a supportive and collaborative work environment. Qualifications
- High school graduate or equivalent
- Ability to read, write, understand and communicate effectively in English
- Knowledge of aseptic and sterilization principles
- Ability to follow detailed department procedures
- Healthcare Provider BLS certification required within two months of hire and maintained
- Must be able to put into practice Service Excellence skills with our patients, families, and co-workers
- Minimum 6 months of experience working in SPD
