Position Summary: At CVS Health, we are dedicated to enhancing access to care, lowering costs, and improving the quality of services. As a 3rd year pharmacy intern, you will play an essential role in our pharmacy team, delivering our purpose and modeling our values while providing exceptional care to our patients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure patient safety and compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Participate in quality assurance and customer service initiatives.
• Manage inventory and pharmacy workflow, under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist.
• Contribute to patient care programs that keep our customers healthy.
• Demonstrate empathy and support for patients, customers, and team members.

Education Requirements: Currently enrolled in an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy.

Required Qualifications:

• 0-3 years of relevant experience.
• Possess or working towards valid intern and/or technician licensure as needed.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Ensure compliance with all required training and state guidelines.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand for extended periods, lift and carry up to 20 lbs, and perform tasks requiring full use of arms and hands.
• Close visual acuity for activities such as transcribing and reading.
• Effective oral communication skills to instruct colleagues and inform customers.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Immunization eligibility.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

Once eligible, pharmacy interns should aim to provide patient immunizations, a key function of our pharmacists.

Pay Range: The typical pay range for this position is $18.00 - $42.00.
