Industrial Maintenance Technician

Location: San Diego, CA

Pay Rate: $30–$40 per hour (based on experience)

Shifts: 1st and 2nd Shift Openings

A well-established manufacturing facility in San Diego is seeking skilled Industrial Maintenance Technicians to support daily operations through proactive maintenance and repair of equipment. This is a full-time position offering competitive pay, consistent scheduling, and a collaborative work environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems
• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance on production and facility equipment
• Interpret technical documents including schematics, blueprints, and manuals
• Troubleshoot motors, conveyors, gearboxes, and control panels
• Use hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic instruments safely and effectively
• Coordinate with production and engineering teams to minimize downtime
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance tasks and repairs

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing setting
• Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical troubleshooting
• Familiarity with PLC systems (or willingness to learn)
• Ability to read and interpret technical diagrams and manuals
• Strong attention to safety and detail
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a physically active environment

Schedule

• 1st Shift: 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM
• 2nd Shift: 2:00 PM – 10:30 PM (shift differential may apply)

Compensation

• $30 to $40 per hour, depending on experience and shift assignment
