Wilson Creek Winery & Vineyards is currently looking for a part-time Guest Relations Associate in Temecula, CA. Position Summary: Under general supervision, the Guest Relations Associate is responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for guests and employees by patrolling and monitoring premises and personnel, while creating a legendary guest experience. This is a part-time, on-site role in Temecula, California. Essential Job Duties & Responsibilities:
- Provide guest service to increase the overall hospitality of the winery.
- Welcomes and guides guests to their planned destination and/or to inform guests about the opportunities of the winery, i.e. tasting room, grille, tours, etc.
- Manages an assigned area indoors and outdoors for extended periods of time and ensures proper guest protocol is being followed, i.e. no underage alcohol consumption, no dogs on property.
- Ensure the safety, security, and wellbeing of guests and employees on the property by patrolling grounds and observing interactions to identify potential issues.
- Watch for unusual, illegal, or dangerous activities occurring on property to assess when intervention is warranted.
- Respond to all medical emergencies, providing first aid, as necessary. If necessary, call 911 to deal with medical or other guest emergencies.
- Appropriately address intoxicated or combative guests by de-escalating the situation.
- If necessary, refuse entrance of guests, evict guests and/or escort them to reasonable transportation.
- Prepare written guest incident reports for all incidents on the Wilson Creek Winery property.
- Demonstrate professionalism to guests, staff, and management.
- Patrol parking lots, boneyard and facilities work area throughout the day.
- Direct Traffic in and out of Wilson Creek Winery main parking lot to ensure efficiency. Direct guests to the nearest open parking spots.
- Communicate with limo drivers and party bus drivers regarding rowdy guests.
- Monitor vineyard area, ensuring guests are not in unauthorized areas.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
What It Takes To Succeed:
- Must be 21 years of age or older.
- A minimum of one (1) years' experience in security.
- Can communicate and understand English.
- Must be CPR Certified and have basic knowledge of first aid.
- Must obtain RBS Certificate within sixty (60) days of hire.
- Guard Card preferred.
- Knowledge of basic security procedures.
- Ability to remain objective.
- Ability to utilize good judgement and control emotions.
- Strong surveillance skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Ability to take control of a situation, while maintaining positive guest relations.

Physical Demands: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand-up to eight hours per day; use hands and fingers. The employee will be required to communicate with guests. The employee is frequently required to reach with hands and arms. The employee is most often required to walk up/downstairs. The employee must be able to lift and/or move up to 45 pounds. Work Environment While performing the duties of this job, the employee will be working in typical conditions and extreme weather. May occasionally be exposed to wet floors, large groups of people and alcohol consumption. On the grounds, may encounter walking on grass, dirt, debris, uneven ground, vineyards, etc. What You'll Get
