As a third-year pharmacy intern, you will play a vital role in our pharmacy team, delivering exceptional care and demonstrating genuine, authentic compassion for our patients.
In this role, under the guidance of a licensed pharmacist, you will ensure a safe and effective retail pharmacy environment. Your responsibilities will include:
- Prioritizing Patient Safety
- Adhering to Pharmacy Professional Practices
- Complying with Regulatory Requirements
- Implementing Quality Assurance measures
- Providing Outstanding Customer Service
- Managing Inventory Effectively
- Assisting with Workflow Management (excluding final prescription verification)
A key aspect of your internship will be to promote health through patient care programs. Additionally, you will be expected to:

Qualifications:
Education:
- Currently accepted into or enrolled in an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy
Required Skills:
- Enrolled in an ACPE accredited pharmacy program
- 0-3 years of relevant experience
- Must hold or be in the process of obtaining intern and/or technician licensure as required
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Successfully complete all required training within state guidelines
Physical Abilities:
- Maintain regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends
- Be mobile and remain upright for extended periods
- Lift, scan, and bag items as necessary
- Utilize fine motor skills for picking, pinching, and typing
- Reach overhead and maintain physical agility
- Possess visual acuity for tasks such as transcribing and inspecting
- Effectively communicate orally with colleagues and customers
Preferred Qualifications:
- Eligibility for immunization training
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Willingness to provide immunizations once qualified under state regulations
The typical pay range for this role is between $18.00 - $19.75 per hour.
