This position focuses ondelivering multi-format, comprehensive talent development programs, supporting employeegrowth, and fostering a culture of continuous learning. The ideal candidatewill be a skilled facilitator, passionate about talent growth, and committed todriving employee development initiatives that align with Americare's values. The TalentDevelopment Facilitator is a vital part of our People function and reporting tothe Talent Development Manager with support from operations. FUNCTIONS OF THE JOB Reasonable accommodations may be made toenable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. • Facilitate a variety of employee developmentinitiatives and learning events across the company through various platforms(i.e. classroom, webinar, virtual) • Coordinate and facilitate the onboarding processfor new hires • Provide Train the Trainer sessions to meeton-going business needs • Manage administrative tasks associated totraining programs including scheduling, registration, communication, tracking,and reporting • Provide up-to-date, supplemental materials tocommunity leaders and learners • Conduct Virtual Instructor Led Training inaccordance with business need • Maintain knowledge of Americare specificprograms and offerings • Close collaboration and communication withCommunity leaders • Serve as a resource for learners, answeringquestions and providing guidance as needed • Measure training effectiveness and makerecommendations for improvements • Coach learners to help them apply their newskills • Encourage active participation andcollaboration • Keep up-to-date with emerging trends and bestpractices in training and development • Creation of supplemental training content, asneeded Essential Skills
  • Contribute to a positive servant leader cultureand environment for employees
  • Must possess the ability to make independentdecisions when circumstances warrant such action
  • Building positive rapport and interpersonalrelationships across a large population of employees
  • Strong verbal and written communications skills
  • Excellent organization skills
  • Proficient in using computers and virtualtraining platforms including Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
  • Experience with Learning Management Systems(LMS) is preferred
  • Maintain professional executive presence bothvirtually and in-person
  • Must be able to read, write, understand, andcommunicate in the English language
  • Complete other duties as assigned
POSITIONQUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTSEducation: Bachelor's Degree OR equivalent experience required Experience:
  • 2-3 years of experience in facilitating trainingprograms
  • Must have current driver's license and a gooddriving record
PositionType/Expected Hours of Work: This is a full-time position requiring 40hours per week, with hours that may vary depending on business need. Travel: Upon hire, 30-40% travel may berequired to acclimate you to the Americare way. After onboarding completion,10% - 20% travel may be required to various facilities, conferences, andmeetings and will include overnight stays. Work Environment: Thisjob operates in a professional office or home office environment depending onlocation. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers,phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines. Operate a car forrequired travel. Physical Demands: Thephysical demands described here are representative of those that must be met byan employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. The physicaldemands of this position include; • Standing, sitting, walking, changing of position,reaching, extending hands & arms, reach across midline, crouching,balancing, kneeling, stooping, bending, lifting 25 lbs from sit to stand &push, pull, lower 100 lbs and push resident in wheelchair 350 lbs. Do not attempt to liftresidents or support entire weight of resident. Lower resident to floor in theevent of fall. Utilize two man liftprocedure Utilize required safetyequipment Sensory Demands: • Auditory: to hear and understand verbal request, • Visually: be able to read necessary information tocomplete work tasks, • Verbally: communicate with customers and others on your team Safety Equipment: • When administering resident care, gait belt,lumbar support, two man lift policy and use of mechanical lifts in notedfacilities. • Use of PPE is required when appropriate toprevent exposure to bloodborne pathogens. • Mandatory reporting of all work-related injurieswithin 12 hours to supervisor with participation in required documentation. • Participation in our drug testing procedures isa mandatory part of employment with this facility.
