CAD Administrator
Department: Engineering
Reports to: Director of Engineering
Location: Bremerton
FSLA Status: Exempt
Compensation: 85K to 95K per year

Why we need you and what you will be responsible for:
We are seeking a passionate, committed CAD System Administrator to help us build our aluminum boats more efficiently. This role manages our CAD and PDM systems, defines and maintains standards, provides support, and trains the engineering team.
Responsibilities include:
- Supporting the enhancement, development, implementation, migration, and upgrade of CAD systems (Solid Edge, AutoCAD, Rhino 3D)
- Supporting users in CAD software application and workflow management
- Providing expert knowledge of CAD and data management
- Developing and enforcing CAD standards, templates, libraries, and workflows
- Managing CAD/PDM Vault system and software licenses
- Identifying business needs and proposing solutions
- Training end users and creating documentation
- Supporting troubleshooting and system support
- Planning data migration and integration with legacy systems
- Collaborating with IT on system customizations and integrations
Core skills and requirements:
- Deep knowledge of parametric, solid modeling CAD systems, especially Solid Edge
- Strong understanding of PDM vault systems
- Experience with CAD to PLM and ERP integrations
- Excellent communication and technical skills
- Leadership and team facilitation skills
- Problem-solving, analytical, and strategic thinking abilities
Experience & Education:
- Degree or certification in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- At least two years of CAD system implementation and administration experience
- Five years of product development experience using 3D CAD, especially Solid Edge
- Must be a US citizen due to contractual requirements
