ASSIGNMENT 1. MSEA - 9 Month Position 2. Wage: Classification 1 - $20.00/hr or $1.50 wage shift differential for current employees PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES 1. The following duties are normal for this classification. These are not to be construed as exclusive or all-inclusive. Other duties may be required and assigned. A. Assist and/or lift handicapped children into and off of transportation vehicles. B. Assign seating arrangement for children if situation requires structure. C. Maintain order and discipline. Writes necessary paperwork following discipline guidelines and delivers to the Transportation Director. D. Attends meetings. Attends health and safety meetings, and student disciplinary meetings within the district when necessary. WORKING CONDITIONS 1. This position is subject to occasionally working in unfavorable weather conditions, contact with bodily fluids and dealing with student temperaments. Engine and student noise are a constant part of the position. Exposure to exhaust fumes can also be an issue. SUPERVISION OF OTHER EMPLOYEES 1. This position does not include supervision of other employees. QUALIFICATIONS 1. High School Diploma or equivalent. 2. Ability to work with children. 3. Must be able to obtain the certification in First Aid/CPR. 4. Must complete the necessary application process and pass a criminal background check and drug screening test
