Description ALTERNATIVE SENTENCING Part-Time, 20 hrs per week, flexible hrs Monday-Friday The Certified Recovery Support Worker (CRSW) will provide essential support and guidance to individuals recovering from substance use disorders. Acting as a mentor, advocate, and role model, the CRSW assists clients in developing recovery plans, accessing resources, and building social skills. This role involves collaboration with multidisciplinary teams within the House of Corrections, Alternative Sentencing, the criminal justice system and treatment networks, and community agencies. The CRSW facilitates support groups and connects clients with community resources. Requirements High school diploma or equivalent. Certified Recovery Support Worker (CRSW) credential through the State of NH Certification as a Certified Health Worker (or the ability to obtain it within 18 months) is preferred. Knowledge of recovery principles. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to maintain confidentiality. Commitment to maintaining confidentiality. Must be a compassionate and empathetic individual dedicated to supporting others in their recovery journey. Must be able to work closely with a diverse team of professionals to provide comprehensive care and support.
