Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Mammography Technologist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing high-quality diagnostic imaging procedures, ensuring patient safety and comfort, and collaborating with radiologists for accurate diagnostic evaluations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform mammography scans using specialized imaging equipment.
• Ensure patient comfort, dignity, and safety throughout the procedure.
• Accurately position patients to obtain optimal imaging results.
• Operate X-ray and other medical imaging equipment as needed.
• Collaborate with radiologists to assist in diagnostic evaluation of mammograms.
• Maintain accurate and timely patient records and documentation.
• Adhere to all safety protocols, infection control standards, and regulatory guidelines.
• Educate patients about the mammography process and address any concerns.

Qualifications:

• Valid certification and licensure as a Mammography Technologist.
• Proficiency in performing mammography scans and understanding imaging results.
• Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology related to breast imaging.
• Familiarity with other imaging modalities such as CT, PET scan, and X-ray is a plus.
• Ability to work effectively in fast-paced environments, including emergency room settings.
• High attention to detail and accuracy in image capture and documentation.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for patient and team interactions.

This is a per-diem and part-time position. Compensation will be submitted based on your preferred rate.
