Industrial Maintenance Technician / MillwrightLocation: Cabazon Competitive Pay: $37.80Express Employment of San Bernardino is seeking a skilled Industrial Maintenance Technician / Millwright with strong mechanical and electrical experience to join our team. This role is critical in maintaining equipment reliability, supporting production operations, and ensuring a safe work environment.
Qualifications:- Experience in maintenance-related fields including computer-operated machines, industrial electrical, and welding.
- Experience with pump and motor repair.
- Licensed Millwright preferred.
- Plumbing experience a plus.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills with strong mechanical aptitude.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs minimum and stand/walk for long periods.
- Self-starter with the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts and transition from day shift training to night shift.
- Must pass a drug screen and background check.
Responsibilities:- Perform preventative maintenance inspections and repairs as needed.
- Respond to and complete emergency repairs and adjustments while production is running.
- Conduct smooth and efficient equipment changeovers.
- Modify or fabricate equipment to improve production reliability and performance.
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical issues.
- Maintain plant equipment to ensure maximum uptime and product quality.
- Maintain off-site facilities and plant operations as required.
- Complete and maintain accurate shift maintenance logs.
- Oversee the start-up and shutdown of plant equipment daily.
- Work safely around equipment that may involve chemicals (caustic, acids, ammonia).
- Be available for on-call emergency support.
