Job Description The Utah State Hospital's Food Service Team is seeking an experienced Baker to provide exceptional baked goods for our campus community. The Bakers responsibility is to bake breads, desserts, and goods in bulk for the campus for serving time. We are looking for someone who will be a positive addition to the team, willing and capable of the work required to prepare and serve over 1200 daily meals to our patients and staff. The Minimum Qualifications:
- Has ServSafe Certification.
- Have experience baking in large quantities and setting up for catered events.
- Knowledge and experience in food preparation, sanitation, inventory rotation, large scale ordering, record keeping, safety, and deep-clean scheduling/tracking
- Experience with institutional food prep equipment.
- Experience with bulk orders.
- Basic knowledge of the principals of dietetics/nutrition and kitchen processes.
- Experience with safety guidelines using the kitchen equipment.
