Position Summary Responsible for managing the ECU Health board portal to include training, maintaining, providing technical support, working with manufacturing support to troubleshoot and provide updates, education on use of portal and support end users. the following groups are using boardeffect: ecu health bot, ecu health medical center bod, ecu health community hospitals bod, all board committees, tobh board, foundation boards, pspi, ecu health medical group board of managers. In addition, provides support for the office of the CEO through maintaining budgets and managing expenses, coordinating and running board meetings, updating board member records and assisting with building needs. Responsibilities
  • Facilitate training and education for staff, board members to meet the support needs of specific products. This includes iPad, laptop computers, desktop computers, printers and other devices used to support the work environment.
  • Facilitate implementation and operations of board of trustees' and committee portals (each listed in the summary above). The current portal is not supported by it. This position will be responsible for training and maintaining support services (setting up new users, troubleshooting, training, system updates/upgrades, etc) of board portal. This supports information exchange and allows board members and staff to securely access documentation electronically.
  • Serves as liaison to vendors of software. Also, serves as a resource for staff using the portal.
  • Budgetary responsibility for Office of the CEO. Develop, monitor, reconcile expenses and make recommendations related to budget allocations.
  • Coordinate monthly board meetings to ensure all materials are available and accessible for board members and senior executives. This includes attending all board meetings to run meeting using audio visual equipment/presentations, printed materials, virtual attendance, etc.
  • Facilitates general maintenance for the ECU Health Administrative Building.
  • Manage schedules for all conference rooms within Vidant Health Administrative Building. Using computerized scheduler, maintain calendars, provide support for audiovisual equipment, field service calls and work with Information Services to resolve issues.
  • Special projects as assigned by the Office of the CEO (Travel , Board Events)
  • Maintains board member information, meeting dates, annual calendars, press notifications, and other administrative board related tasks as assigned.
Minimum Requirements
  • H.S. graduate with 2 additional years of education in Secretarial Science, Business Administration, Information Technology required.
  • 1-3 years experience of executive level administrative support required.
  • An additional four years of experience beyond the required one to three years may be substituted for the required two years of education.
