About the roleWe are looking for a highly experienced, product-minded Full Stack Engineer to join our small, skilled, and fast-moving team.
We use full stack TypeScript, with React on the frontend and Node.js on the backend. Shipping features will require you to contribute across the stack.
Take ownership of our REST API, client libraries, and ensure a seamless API-first developer experience
End-to-end feature ownership, interacting with customers and our community to understand their needs
Expand your knowledge of the robotics and self-driving industries
Work alongside an experienced team on a cutting edge product
LocationWe're a small, fully remote, global company with team members primarily in the U.S. and Australia. We maintain Pacific Time hours and hire within ±4 hours of U.S. time zones to ensure effective collaboration.
This role is onsite in our San Francisco office, but we are open to remote for highly experienced candidates with prior experience at a leading robotics or autonomous vehicle company.
What we're looking for8+ years professional experience in writing high-performance production software
3+ years of professional experience in Robotics or Autonomous systems
Significant professional experience using Go or Rust
Strong experience with a SQL database, query plan optimization, and scaling data workloads
Experience with one or more cloud object stores and other data storage mechanisms
Familiarity with SQL-backed REST APIs
Familiarity with Kubernetes
Passion for building technical tools with engineers as the primary users
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, small team environment
Considers the customer impact when making technical decisions
Experience with Spark/Databricks (data sources, Spark SQL, query optimization, administration)
